A conversation between me & you: Series Update

A brief conversation between me and you.

Me: Hello Lovely.

You: Hey, Galya. Where have you been?

Me: Writing.

You: Something I want to read, I hope.

Me: Yeah, I hope so too. Here's my writing update:

~ May 1st I will launch History of the Vampire. It is a prequel to Jessie and Aurora's story, featuring Jessie and Colette.

You: What?! How did this whole prequel thing happen?

Me: Well, I was re-reading all three Jessie and Aurora books so that I had everything up to speed in my brain when I realized that I wanted to tell more of Colette's story. So I started making notes while reading, which became (is becoming) History of the Vampire. (BONUS! ~ In this book, you get to read 1/2 the story from Jessie's perspective, so that's been a lot of fun to write.)

But do not fret, my lovely, if you are chomping at the bit to read Aurora's fate...

~ July 1st (Or hopefully even June 15th) I will launch the next Jessie and Aurora story. Currently untitled, but I'm shadow writing it as I write History. A bit tricky, but it's working.

~ And then the next Dorian and Haley story. Don't really have a date for that launch yet, but probably late summer/ early fall.

All this is dependent upon the daughter not bringing home any more miserable colds, of course. And no company trying to lure me away with some writing gig that I need to take so that said daughter can keep wearing shoes and going to pre-school. Plus, there's the rent to pay. No easy feat in San Francisco.

You: Okay, thanks for clearing all that up. But I was kind of expecting the next Jessie and Aurora story, so I'm a little confused.

Me: I promise you that History of the Vampire will scratch your itch.

You: Okay, I trust you. But don't try to cross me. Or else... (menacing gesture)

  2. I have seen that you had a plan to have a third book for Haley and Dorian and it didn't go as planned. Do you still intend to write it and if so when are you expecting to come out with it

    1. Hi! Thanks for asking. Yes, I still intend to continue with Haley and Dorian. In fact, I really want to. The delay is because I had to take a day job as a tech writer and it's soaking up my time. But baby needs pre-school, so such is life. I am committed for the next Jessie and Aurora book to launch in December and then I promise I will get working on Dorian and Haley. - And as a little perk especially for you, the next book will be called Song of the Vampire.

  4. If you've read Call of the Vampire and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a quick review on Amazon. I am at 91 reviews and am trying to get up over a hundred so that I can land some of the bigger promotions, boost my sales, leave my day job and just write vampire books. (Okay, that would take a lot of sales, but a gal can dream. lol) But anyway, a review on Amazon is always greatly appreciated. xo ~ GT

  5. Hello! I adore the Vanderlind Realm books. I just read both of them today. I have read that fast in a while. I am dying for the next one, like, I seriously might implode. I will most definitely review them on online and fully intend to read the castle series starting now! As well as review them when I am finished. I want to let you know how much I loved them and adore your work and look forward to the next one as well as reading the castle series! I know I keep repeating myself but the story has captured me in the best way. Thank you for sharing you creative imagination and ideas with all of us. Its a privilege. <3

    1. Thank you for telling me. Sorry, I have been dealing with a lot of life stress lately and haven't updated my blog in ages. The 3rd book in the Vanderlind Realm will launch in late March and then I will write the next book in the Vanderlind Castle series. Thanks again for reading. (and reviewing!)
